Inlays and onlays are restorative treatments often used either where a simple filling wouldn’t suffice, or instead of a crown. Designed to repair teeth that have become damaged in some way, inlays are often used at the back of the mouth where the treatment area is larger.
Onlays can be used in some cases where normally a crown might be used to replace and repair the cusp of the tooth, but offer a less invasive option.
